I know I posted like 12 hours ago but so much has happened since then. something that I forgot to mention yesterday is that there were people striking in the center of town by the obelisk. They were striking mass transportation and the lack of security, leading to the train crash a week ago.

Next thing I know, its morning. I almost thought I was back home on Christmas, waking up to British or Russian marching music, but then realized I was in Bs.As. There is some marching band down the street from my house. I tried to look out my window but couldn't see them. I am not sure what they are doing/why they are playing so early (8am is really early here) so I will ask my host mom later (she is out right now) and update later.
Lastly, my home page on my computer is the Buenos Aires Herald and I found out that the subways (my way of commuting to school) are going on strike tomorrow for an unknown period of time. Looks like I will have to learn to take the bus.
